Out and about close to home: Excellence awards and an early Feast Day

Early this week I was so honoured to be asked to be the guest speaker at Our Lady Help of Christians School Rosemeadow for their annual Excellence Awards. It really made me think hard about what excellence meant to me. In the end I gave this definition to the children: “Excellence is finding your gifts, using them to be all you can be, for yourself, for and with others, and for God”.

At the end of the week I helped St Therese's in Sadleir celebrate their Feast Day a little early, because it always falls in their school holiday. It was so good to be back in that lovely community again.
