January 28: Holiday Highlights: As the holidays come to an end it's time to look back on all that we did together. The year began with the usual visits of the King Parrots and Rosellas. On New Years Day the three of us headed off to see Annie in Sydney and loved it- a festival of the redhead! Our good friend Peter came over from Adelaide to watch the cricket at the SCG and we did some touring around as well.
Our friend Bernard came to stay and added to his hat collection and impressed us with his snake stretching technique! We went on quite a few bushwalks as well, near home, on the coast and in South Australia.
I'm pretty sure the whole family would agree that the best part of the holiday was our trip to Victor Harbor with the Mercers. It was a grand week of sun, surf, mini-golf (I lost), table tennis (I won) and board games (I lost). When we got back we saw perhaps the best 3D movie I've ever seen- Hugo- just fantastic.
January 25: New DVD arrives! Today I picked up "In Your Footsteps" from the factory. Available now with 18 video clips and all five of my picture books as eBooks.
January 21: New CD arrives and the big mailout- back to work! After recording the first song for the CD back in July 2008, the long process was over when I picked up the CDs from the factory on January 20. Then it was off to work for the weekend stuffing envelopes to send around Australia and New Zealand. Our eldest daughter Kylie helped us this time around.
January 12: Happy New Year and Happy New CD! The first entry for the year. Our new CD, People Of Peace, is at the factory and will be ready next week. You can have a quick preview by clicking on the CD picture and then clicking on various tracks. You can order from next week!
